Russia fulfills its obligations on the supply of weapons, despite the difficulties with the calculations and the violation of supply chains, said the Director General of JSC “Rosoboronexport” (part of the state corporation “Rostec”) Alexander Mikheev to journalists at the international exhibition HeliRussia, RIA Novosti reports.
“I have no doubt that in the near future we will be able to resolve all issues with the routing of payments, transportation, we will transfer payments into national currencies, we will not allow an imbalance in the military-technical cooperation [military-technical cooperation] system,” — he assured.
According to him, Russia's military-technical cooperation with foreign countries should move “to a qualitatively new level, which will ensure the loading of enterprises of the domestic defense industry and cooperation of defense industries with partner countries".
"Rosoboronexport" plans to deliver more than 200 helicopters to 24 countries by 2025, the amount of contracts exceeds $3 billion, Mikheev also said.
The day before, the company announced that they would present new and modernized Russian helicopters at the exhibition, including combat reconnaissance Ka-52 attack helicopter, modernized versions of the Mi-28NE combat helicopter and the Mi-171Sh military transport helicopter, as well as the Mi-38T airborne assault helicopter. The Mi-35M transport and combat helicopter, military transport and multipurpose Mi-17V-5, Ka-32A11M, Ka-226T and Ansat helicopters will also be demonstrated.
